Early in the
school year, students who may benefit from our Gifted and Talented
programmes are identified. We take a broad and inclusive approach
to identifying such students. Information about students' special
abilities is assembled from their contributing schools, parents,
teacher observation and term one achievement data.

choir, kapahaka, cultural groups, art, dance, science and technology.
We also participate in an annual inter-school sports camp especially
for students with special ability in sports.
Students are
encouraged to take part in the University of New South Wales Australasian

available for interviews with parents who feel that their child
may need special programmes to meet their particular abilities.
